Summary: This paper aims to help family practitioners to quickly read and evaluate meta-analyses to keep up-to-date with current evidence-based treatment methods. Results of meta-analyses are often presented in plots and diagrams, to enable a quick review of the results. We explain how to interpret frequently used graphical displays like Forest plot and L’Abbé plot as well as heterogeneity measure I2.
