Aspirin Effective for Prevention of Thromboembolism Recurrence

In this RCT aspirin reduced the risk of recurrence when given to patients with unprovoked venous thromboembolism who had discontinued anticoagulant treatment. No apparent increase in the risk of major bleeding was observed.
